Boarding

Each kennel has an enclosed sleeping area with access to a private, semi-outside exercise area, plus underfloor heating and in-built speaker, through which we play piped music.

We are not a centre that keeps boarders in isolation during their stay. They are pack animals, and the overwhelming majority of dogs’ natural inclination (and their owners!) is to prefer socialisation over isolation. For this reason, we only accept ‘sociable dogs’.

However, we are always keen to stress that there are many types of ‘sociable dog’.

A ‘sociable’ dog is a dog that is ‘generally content in other dogs’ company’, ranging from those that play with others all day to those that are just happy pottering around the sidelines by themselves. It takes all sorts here!

For us, ‘unsociable’ dogs are reactive to other dogs, and have the potential to cause a serious injury, a very small minority of dogs.

Should your dog be sociable, and with your permission, it will be socialised with other dogs in one of our three size-appropriate socialisation areas. Here, they can run, mingle or potter until their heart’s content, ensuring your dog’s well-being and development doesn’t stop just because they are away from home.

Choose from two different sizes of kennels, family kennels for 1–4 dogs, or standard for 1-3 dogs (subject to the size of your dog(s).

And our boarding days run from 10 am - 10 am the next day:

Drop-off: 10 am - 1 pm / 3pm* - 7 pm

Pick-up: 8am - 10 am**

*The second drop-off session is from 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays

**This is the latest time you can pick up - your dogs can be picked up the afternoon before should you wish

Early drop offs/late pickups must be organised in advance and will result in extra charges. We charge £5 per hour per dog for early drop offs. Pick-ups after 10am will result in an extra night’s charge.

We feed all boarders with top-quality James Wellbeloved food as standard, while all of our boarders are put to bed with cocktail sausages and various other treats.

And while we provide VetBeds, Kong Toys, and Licki Mats in every kennel as standard, you are also welcome to bring your own, to ensure maximum comfort and continuity for your dog. In fact, you can bring anything that’ll make your dog feel more at home.

Whether it be an extended holiday, a business trip or an overnight stay, our built to specification kennels will provide a home away from home for your four-legged friend.
