Who are we?

Conveniently located next to Granta Park Business Park, and junctions for the A11, A505, and A1307, Waggy’s is a dog centre in Abington, Cambridgeshire, offering dog daycare, boarding, and bathing services.

Both daycare and boarding dogs alike will find a home from home in one of our 32 custom-built kennels, featuring both private sleeping and exercise areas, underfloor heating, and piped music. In addition to private facilities, your dog will be able to stretch their legs in one of our sizeable garden runs, or mingle with other dogs in our socialisation areas, featuring tunnels, raised platforms, paddling pools, and ball pits.

We are a dog centre that socialises dogs together, rather than isolating them from one another. Please note that for this reason, we only accept ‘sociable dogs’.

A ‘sociable’ dog is one that is ‘generally content in other dogs’ company’. This is a wide definition: it can range from those dogs that play with others all day to those that are just happy pottering around the sidelines by themselves. For us, ‘unsociable’ dogs are those that are reactive to other dogs, and have the potential to cause a serious injury. If you have any doubts about the sociability of your dog, please get in touch for a chat, and a potential trial stay.

Your pooch will be cared for by our staff who have a combined 30 years experience of working with canines, while all higher management have either a Level 2 or 3 OFQUAL qualification in Canine Care, Welfare and Behaviour, along with being fully-trained in canine first aid too.

Feel free to bring your dog’s own bedding, food, and toys to accompany them during their stay. Or, alternatively, we can provide them with our own VetBed, Kong toy and LickiMat, and JamesWellbeloved food as standard.
