what we’re all about
About us
Waggy’s began with a simple belief – dogs are happiest around other dogs. Everything we do, from socialisation to comfortable downtime, is built around giving your dog real company, not a cage and a countdown.

Who we are
We’re a Cambridgeshire based team who’d rather be knee deep in mud and slobber than sat behind a desk. Waggy’s was founded by people who couldn’t find a boarding kennel they’d trust with their own dogs, so they built one.
Today, we look after dogs of every size, breed and personality, from bouncy puppies to gentle old souls, all under one roof near Great Abington.

why we do it
Our mission
Our mission is simple. Give every dog who comes through our doors a proper social life, not just somewhere to be looked after.
Waggy’s doesn’t just provide enrichment and socialisation. It provides a safe and secure environment for your dog to learn doggy manners, body language, and how to be confident in real world situations.
care, attention
Our story
Waggy’s started because we knew a change was needed. Too many boarding kennels kept dogs isolated for most of the day, and too many owners were left worrying about how their dog was really getting on.
We wanted to do things differently; where dogs are desperate to come in, staff know every dog as an individual, and owners get to see exactly how their dog’s day is going.
That’s how “socialisation, not isolation” became more than a motto. It became the whole point of Waggy’s.
what we stand for
Values
The values at the heart of our service.
Socialisation first
We believe dogs are happier, calmer and better behaved when they’re allowed to be properly social, not shut away on their own.
Honesty with owners
Whether it’s good or bad, we keep you informed on their progress and behaviour with complete honesty.
Every dog, understood
Big or small, bold or shy, every dog gets a setting that suits them, not a one size fits all approach.
Standards that don't slip
From our 5-star licence rating to our fully qualified team, we hold ourselves to a standard, not just a minimum.
